In THE GUTTER, when oft-fired Walt (Shameik Moore) lands on the bar and kicks off his shoes at the local AlleyCatz bowling alley, he feels like he’s finally found a home. When the AlleyCatz face financial trouble, former pro-bowler and current Skunk drinking champion (D’Arcy Carden) pressures Walt to accept his role as the greatest bowler to ever walk this earth. While Walt’s love of big checks and in-your-face style dominates the pro tour, his detractors, including ratings-obsessed news anchor Angel Powers and bowling legend Linda “The Crusher” Curson (Susan) Sarandon), furiously try to extinguish Walt’s flame before it burns too brightly.
