Chronology
The inhabitants of a dilapidated French apartment building fight an army of deadly and rapidly reproducing spiders. The visually striking buildings where the action takes place were not created for the film; they are the Picasso Arena in Noisy-le-Grand, near Paris, designed by architect Manuel Núñez Yanowsky in the 80s. When TN feels the effects of the spider bite, he is seen wearing one of the new shoes.

He would not have put on the right shoe after being attacked/poisoned. The film was well shot with good lighting and cinematography. The spider effects were all really well done.
The acting was also good
But as for the story… why did people in the Middle East work so hard to catch these things for what I assume was a few dollars? I don’t understand why the venomous animal specialist tried to put a spider in a shoebox.

I don’t understand why, after the spider escapes from the shoebox, it puts one of its eggs in the same shoebox. I don’t understand why, suddenly, halfway through the movie, spiders are afraid of light. I don’t understand how the spiders tied a bunch of people to the ceiling…
But who cares about the plot details, this is an enjoyable creature feature nonetheless
