This documentary tells the story of a group of young Egyptian girls from a very conservative small village in Upper Egypt who formed a female acting troupe despite their family rejection. Most of the time I felt like it was me in some way, it’s so moving. !I feel their struggle, their fears and their dreams, how hard it is for them to even dream about it, how brave they are to pursue their dreams even in their conservative and limited community… I love it so much! The singer’s voice brought me to tears just listening to her. The actors are so real, so authentic that I feel like I could easily meet them anywhere, I watched it once, but I’ll go to the cinema again and watch it. I would really like to watch something else from them.
