Chronology
The film follows the titular superhero as he reconciles his heritage with his human upbringing. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way of life in a world that considers this old-fashioned. James Gunn tweeted that his father’s death had an impact on the story. The film’s release date, 11 July 2025, was his father’s birthday. When James Gunn finished the first draft of the script, he called the film Superman: Legacy. When he locked the final version, it was clear to him that the title was SUPERMAN. Appeared in the crazy anime cast of AniMat: The End of a Pokémon Master (2022).
